Finally the snow has stopped.
YAY!
But Spring, where are you?? Usually by now I have broken out the capris and am rocking a fabulous flip flop tan! LOL Seriously , one of my most favorite parts of Spring is..... no socks in the laundry!!
Is it warm where you are yet?
I have another child ready to graduate high school! Time certainly does fly by. She has chosen her college and it's 6 hours away....
This momma will be a regular on the PA turnpike as she starts this new journey. She is super excited and ready to be a part of a big city! She may be a country girl at heart, but the big city is calling her. But first we have Prom, top 5% night, senior awards, and graduation to get through!
Spring also means my oldest will be home soon! She is finishing her sophomore year at college.
We had a lovely night last weekend. All three of my girls joined me for a paint nite with some friends. The conversations with teenage daughters are definitely interesting, sassy and lively!
I have also been trying to take care of myself more. I have been walking, trying to drink more water and eat a little better. I also know I need some time for myself and things I love, like art and scrapbooking. That lead me to guest CT for a designer for March. I made some great pages with kits by the fabulous Connie Prince. Her kits are available at Ginger Scraps HERE. Here are some of the pages I have made with her kits.
I didn't do them all in March, but in the last 6 months or so.
I also decided to clean up my art space and organize it a little bit more. I wanted my acrylic paints more accessible so I can work a little easier. And lately my art space has become the dumping ground for anything that no one wanted to put away.
Have you checked out my Etsy store? I have lots of great kits and teaching items in my store. I added a whole bunch in January and February! If you have made a purchase (thank you!!), please be sure to leave a review!
Well, I guess that's it for now...
Have a happy scrappy day!!!
