Ahhhh.... it's that time of year our kiddies get ready to return to the classroom.  This is my first year not returning as a teacher... so this time of year is a bit different for me now.  But being home more give me some more time to scrap and design... (I hope! LOL)  Most of out supplies are bought and labeled. Backpacks are packed. Some new clothes have been bought. 

Anyway....

Who's In Class ..... Freebie

End of August and early September it the time all the kiddies get back in class as a new school year begins.  My own children will return to school in September and my oldest is headed off to high school. I think I am more worried that she is.... she says she is ready, I am soooo not ready!! So this year mine will be headed off to 3 different schools.. 2 in elemetary, 1 in middle school and the high schooler.... let the crazy schedules begin!

Special Template Collab for a Dear Friend

We have a dear friend and fellow designer that has been diagnosed with leukemia. She has missed a lot of work and so designers from Scraps N Pieces and Stuff to Scrap have come together to put together a fund raising kit to benefit our Dear Friend. She is a great designer and a good friend to all of us. She is having to take a break right now from work and from designing to take care of herself and we hope the funds raised from this template pack will help benefit her in some small way and show our appreciation to her for all she has done to help and support us.

Blog Train Freebie

Wow!  I can't believe that August is halfway done already!  Summer is just flying by for me.  How about you? 

So much has been going on, I hardly feel like I got to enjoy it!  The last 2 weeks have been a bunch of doctor and dentist appointments, cheerleading started, a big birthday bash for all 4 kiddies, and trying to get ready for school to start.  This year is a bit different from the last 7, beacause I am not getting myself ready for a class of kiddies. 

I am now staying home again.  The school I was at has turned into a daycare, and while I truely enjoy teaching, I do not want to work in a daycare that is open all year and some holidays.  So I am helping out a couple of friends and watching their lil' ones.  Two big bonus'.... one, I am now home for my kiddies more, and two, I am making more watching a couple of kiddies that teaching 20 in a daycare. Strange how our society values our early-childhood educators. 

Anyway, do you want a freebie??  Of course you do!!
